Service Description

In a Wall Yin Yoga class, practitioners explore the deeply meditative and introspective practice of Yin Yoga with the added support and stability of a wall. This unique approach combines the principles of Yin Yoga, which involves holding passive poses for an extended period of time, with the use of the wall as a prop for added stability and alignment. With the support of the wall, practitioners can focus on surrendering into each posture, allowing gravity to gently deepen the stretch without the need for muscular effort. Poses in a Wall Yin Yoga class typically target the lower body, including the hips, hamstrings, and lower back, as these areas tend to hold a lot of tension and benefit greatly from long, supported holds. Throughout the practice, emphasis is placed on breath awareness and mindfulness. Students are encouraged to observe any sensations that arise within their bodies and to practice non-judgmental awareness as they hold each pose. The use of the wall provides a sense of security and grounding, allowing practitioners to fully surrender into the practice and release tension held within the body and mind. Wall Yin Yoga offers a deeply nourishing and rejuvenating experience, leaving practitioners feeling grounded, centered, and more connected to themselves.
