Service Description
During our Chair Yoga practice, we will listen to our bodies – do what feels good, and never force ourselves into a place of pain or discomfort. Chair Yoga invites you to find mobility in a way that is soft and gentle but also really supportive and beneficial. This practice invites awareness and integrity into the body, specifically the line of the spine. Activate the muscles that help you find length up through the spine for better posture and energy flow. This 60-minute class will begin on the chair with breathwork, centering, and warm-ups. Standing options with the support of a chair are optional. By doing these gentle but powerfully effective practices in a chair or on the floor, you can regain your best body, inside and out. You can build muscle and tone up for your whole life. Each practice builds on one another to strengthen and open your body in different yet complementary ways. Overtime you'll have increased endurance and balance. Chair Yoga is great for anyone wanting to reclaim mobility in a gentle way due to: Aging or challenge with mobility. Illness or injury that needs healing movement. Loss of strength or dealing with fatigue. Entering into their yoga practice. Chair Yoga is suitable for all ages and abilities.
