About Us
Jeff
I love active classes and try to strike a balance between vigorous and more laid-back yoga. My hope is that classes are relaxed and fun while also being focused and precise. I want to encourage students to move at their own pace and work slowly toward more challenging yoga poses.
My yoga teaching style draws on several types of yoga, including Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga,. My main teaching style, though, is rooted in a breath-based Hatha practice.
Janice
The unique practice of yoga, encompassing body, mind and spirit, intrigued me and from that first calming breath in class, I knew I had found what I was looking for. Being active and having just completed my first half marathon, I also realized the physical benefits of yoga; incorporating the practice as an effective method of cross-training, to strengthen and tone, as well as increasing flexibility to reduce the risk of injury. I then began to deepen my own practice and decided to share my love of yoga with others.
I have recently found a new passion which builds on my yoga fundamentals: Movement and Mobility. Leading classes where we play with poses and challenge our bodies to move in different ways to reawaken our muscles and increase our functional fitness.
I look forward to seeing you on your mat and guiding you through your Yoga experience.
